NY Times: Odds Are, Russia Owns Trump by Michelle Goldberg
His campaign of racial and religious grievance drew on the darkest currents of American history. At most, Putin appears to have recognized an opportunity that American political dysfunction created.

It's good that the Times is finally catching on to this. But even if it's front and center news every day, I'd be surprised if enough of the voting population would care. We are so "numbed and normalized" to the outrageousness that there's little outrage.

The Times and The Washington Post are in a de facto competition to find and reveal information on Trump-Russia including all of the King's men and women. Some of the writers are much more into it and keen on Trump Russia than others. And then there's a group of writers who are more about the harsh critique like Charles Blow.

In my opinion the best information on Trump Russia comes from Seth Abramson and it's found mostly on Twitter. He does appear as a talking head here and there but on those appearances he reveals none of the detail and depth that his Twitter threads do. Some of his threads are 100 posts long. Also Lawrence Tribe maintains a very good Twitter feed on Trump.

Someone like Bill Palmer is more or less a tea leaf reader. Palmer is attempting to read between the lines and into the damning information that comes out on Trump day after day.

I'm just glad that what has been public knowledge is at least finally going mainstream. If the public could only care 1/10 as much about this as something like Hillary's emails....sigh.
