The GOP hates Governing because it hates Government as a philosophical principle. If Jefferson believed the Gov't that governs best governs least the GOP would take that a step further and say Gov't should ONLY do things for the rich and no one elsewhere possible. The present iteration of the party is essentially what I'd call Religious Fascist or Malignant Corporatism. Deeply Authoritarian and totally corrupted by both BIG Corp. $$ and right-wing religious organizations. The Trumpist wing adding in Xenophobia and racism openly to the mix.It's a hellish brew of hate, greed and belligerence.
