The GOP hates the very word environmentalism. When they talk about deregulation at the top of their list is any regulations that involve environmental protections. ( unless these protections are for the protection of wealthy communities of course.)
So short sighted and arrogant - apparently the earth is a big dump with infinite garbage storage.
