Neo-Slavery is everywhere. If you can keep wages low enough you end up with a Dickensian economy, where working doesn't any longer pay the bills. This is the goal of many in both parties. The theory being that a huge starving underclass can be easily controlled by enough armed force. It certainly seems to be what were seeing develop. The once thriving middle class is being ditched for this model. Say hello to Amerika of the HUNGER GAMES.

It's interesting too because so many societal institutions support the righteousness of a powerful elite class subjugating the poor and weak. You get that in the churches, in academia, in the media, in cultural works. So the wealthy are not burdened by the notion of inflicting suffering on 'sub' humans.
