Hedges' Latest

  Reading Chris Hedges is like getting the strongest dose of smelling salts possible and even if you are already conscious, it startles you more awake.

But to challenge it, to state the obvious fact that things are getting worse, and may soon get much worse, is to be tossed out of the circle of magical thinking that defines American and much of Western culture.

There's a thing at Grand Street art space, Tom Lail has an installation. I think we'll go there and then shoot up to Troy. So yeah, may see you there.

Your bunny avatar is funny. We're so charmed to have some pretty tame little guys in the garden but today there one was chowing down on some of Cathy's roses.

Chris is depressing and anxiety producing at the same time. Every time I read his stuff I need to reach for the Xanax.
