The Market On Friday

  Good morning. It is a balmy 63 degrees and cloudy here in Upstate NY. The weather logo is indicating rain. We had trick or treaters last night, it seemed like the dominant costume for boys was spider man, lots of different costumes for the girls. As usual we had too much candy left over and this is the truth, I didn't even try it not even one peanut butter cup.

  At 8:45 a.m. ET futures are up and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open higher while some energy stocks may drop.

  All in all October was a month of strong gains. Any time the DOW is hovering around 15,500, the market is strong. What is of more interest this morning is the report that Obama was seeking to dump Biden in favor of Hillary.

The main economic report coming out Friday is the ISM Index for October, which will be released at 10 a.m. ET.
