The Market On Tuesday

  Good morning. It is 25 degrees and mostly cloudy with some very light snow here in Upstate NY. Yes, it's snowing. I woke up this morning, opened the shade, and saw the world excepting the roads with a patina of white. Winter is hanging around. Once again it's been a very long winter, I may need to move, I'm not enjoying it one bit.

  At 7:50 a.m. futures are moderately higher and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open higher but one suspects energy stocks will open lower.

  Some investors are expecting to see the market drop roughly 10% of its present value in the upcoming period. A correction will eventually catch up to us. Also many say that stocks are still undervalued even in this record breaking territory. The articles indicate that today will be a more quiet day with not many reports. Enjoy the snow.

Major automakers...are also set to release their monthly sales figures Tuesday.
