  Good morning. It is 28 degrees and sunny here in Upstate NY. The cold lingers on. The 10 day forecast has us on the edge of our seats with warmth promised in the future but just not today. Are these people doing this stunt on purpose? Are they trying to trick us and lure us on with promises of warmth.

  I say screw the news today. It's usually just miserable information anyhow. Someone once said to me something like - I don't know how you can keep up a blog and sift through the ugly news that keeps raining on all of us. The person had a point. Ordinarily the news does not upset me at all. I take it all in stride and in a matter of fact way. I think the world will remain intact, people are clearly their own worst enemies. In my mind mind it's about changing people's thinking, it's an ongoing extraordinarily slow project with lots of reversals and pitfalls.
