Epidemic

This is a must read. Some people seem to have a sixth sense for finding fear in the benign. You could present anything to the aforementioned and they imagine a future fear scenario and then work their life based on that possibility. In their own mind they think of themselves as shrewd planners.

NY Mag: Georgia GOP Chairwoman Sue Everhart Warns of a ‘Chuck & Larry’ Epidemic
“You may be as straight as an arrow, and you may have a friend that is as straight as an arrow,” Everhart said. “Say you had a great job with the government where you had this wonderful health plan. I mean, what would prohibit you from saying that you’re gay, and y’all get married and still live as separate, but you get all the benefits? I just see so much abuse in this it’s unreal. I believe a husband and a wife should be a man and a woman, the benefits should be for a man and a woman. There is no way that this is about equality. To me, it’s all about a free ride.”
Just as a matter of point, does Ms Everhart wonder if such abuse would happen between men and women or is their no possibility for that since we are talking about a man and a women as opposed to a man and a man or woman and a woman.

Oh yea, I see that happening a lot. ( NOT!) This guy had better calm down and STFU because he's obviously losing this argument over gay marriage and is in a full blown homosexual panic about it.

It's that fear based thinking, that what if this weird thing happens, it's very paranoid and obsessive. It also gets a knee jerk reaction from her base of supporters who are reaching for reasons to justify their position. The only answer the right has to gay marriage is the bible, this is an attempt to make the objection more "contemporary" and it's ridiculous.
