It's not about news on FOX news anymore then Pravda was about truth. It's about a particular world-view and you have to buy the whole package.
The election seems to have shaken some of the b.s. loose because the light bulb is dawning that their jig is up. Some are doubling down on crazy, can't help that, it will always occur. Somebody like Jindal is being more vocal about it. The GOP is not going to win in this country with a regressive stance on women and gay marriage. I think the tide has broken on that and each year that goes by more and more of the "old" school drifts away. Look at Bill O'Reilly he is just beginning to understand that he is no longer relevant. He is a dinosaur.
Is it? 48 mil. people voted for Mittens. Obama won by 51% of the vote , not exactly a landslide. The Regressive s still have enormous power in the Courts and Congress. They also own most of everything as well. They can make lots of trouble for the rest of us and they are very likely to do just that considering their absolute hatred for any kind of democracy they can't own as well.
Minimum, they repackage the s.o.s. and/or double down on crazy.
Some are going to move closer to the middle and start saying compromise rather than my way or the highway.
A very few will leave the party and become indies.
They know time is against them. Too many people of color are out there, and then there's the female vote.
I would agree that the minimum is likely for many but they still know they are behind in the vote. So, we will get more attempts at voter suppression, more computer manipulations, more disinformation etc.
