Large areas of the coastal US will be under water by the 22nd century including most of southern Fla. ( Miami area.) NYC, Phila., Boston etc. Large areas of the Mid-west will be turned or turning into desert. The future looks scary to say the least. This is the price were going to pay for driving about the planet in SUVs and Hummers.
WAR endless unimaginable wars for water and arable land. One prediction I'm starting to hear that is really scary, is that above 3 degs. the Amazon burns down and all that carbon gets added to the mess. At some pt. though the real hammer slams down and it's curtains, that's the methane bomb laying at the bottom of a rapidly warming arctic sea. Once this shit hits the fan its adios humanity and most of the rest of the life larger then rat. My guess is we'll be nuking each other well before that happens.

You and I know that a 4 degree increase is optimistic. The enormity and implications are pretty much unthinkable, unimaginable.
