The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. At 8:30 a.m. it is 35 degrees and sunny here in Upstate NY. It's looking like we are in for a gorgeous pleasant type of day. I am just back from a decent walk with the new dog. She was able to play with a neighbor's dog for a while and out of all of the exercise a dog can get, playing with another dog is in my opinion the best type. The dogs burn up energy very fast and wear each other out. It's great to watch too because the dogs' enjoyment is very high, lots of tail wagging.

At 8:30 a.m. futures are slightly lower, the dollar is mostly down against major world currencies, and the price of oil is down. Right now the market is poised to open slightly down to flat.

The articles point to a week of light trading because of the coming Easter weekend holiday and don't forget that the market will be closed on Good Friday.

In general today's articles point to a market that has room to grow this year and appears to be in decent shape for the time being.

So enjoy the stability while it is occurring...
