Water Wager

It's not easy to get water into the middle of the desert.

Guardian UK: Las Vegas plans to pump water across 300 miles of desert approved
The Centre for Biological Diversity called the decision a victory for "mindless Las Vegas growth".

They'd pump water to hell if it involved some Billionaires property or Corp. Vegas is one of the biggest epicenters of this new Depression, yet the State nor the banks can find a frigggin dime to help out the people there who ended up under water on their mortgages. The town is filled with foreclosures as far as the eye can see but no problem they'll spend another 300 mil. if it will profit one of their cronies.

Yes, I know about Vegas. I have a relative there who is underwater as a result of the bottom falling out of the housing market in Vegas. Houses that were selling for $250K now go for $80K. That's some serious underwater issue, and it's impossible to get relief from banks. The margins that people have to fall in, in order to qualify for any of this so called Obama refi stuff is unbelievably narrow. Plus the banks play it up to the hilt, one guy will say yes, the other will say no, the other will say you filled out the wrong form, and back to square one after 6 months of getting mercilessly jerked around. It's a total cluster#*#$.
