Good morning. It is 36 degrees and overcast here in Upstate NY. The forecast has the temperature up in the 50s today and that means all of our recent snow will be melting away. Its damp out there.
We just got back from a lengthy walk with the new dog. We are working on containing her barking which is the one hitch in her otherwise pleasing Labrador disposition. We are learning good tricks from a skilled dog trainer. A dog trainer is a misnomer, they are actually people trainers. We get trained to work with the dog.
On a personal note, I was out performing music last night at an art opening. It was just as I expected it to be - noisy, cramped, and I had a hard time hearing myself, but I had a good time. I was encouraged. Its been a long recovery, but I'm back...

Sorry to miss, Jim. I was at the UAG gallery listening to Matthew Tansey. I'll come out next time though.
Talk about the music you played?
We played 10 original instrumental songs. I designed them for the players in the group also influenced by the gypsy style jazz I like mixed with a few other interests, so its a real musical bastard. People seemed to be receptive. I couldn't hear anything and I'm struggling with a deep cold to boot.
