I wonder if there will be a migration out of red states. People are mentioning this type of thing on Twitter, where the question posed is, "Which state should I move to", along with references to Roe.
End
The point of a President Trump, for a core portion of his supporters, was his function as a wrecking ball. Yet with Dobbs decided and Roe undone, the single biggest tear-down those voters wanted is complete.

“There’s still a lot of uncertainty about the question of criminal intent when it comes to a president, but what just happened changed my bottom line,” said Alan Rozenshtein, a former Justice Department official who teaches at the University of Minnesota Law School. “I have gone from Trump is less than likely to be charged to he is more than likely to be charged.”

Comment
In today's J6 Committee hearing, the part about Trump strangling his Secret Service driver is something that even I could not imagine, and no one holds a lower rank, in my opinion, than Trump. Just when you think Trump is scraping the bottom of the barrel, he scrapes deeper.

Coping
As we are pummeled with daily traumatic information, more and more of us shut down emotionally.
Only with heightened coping skills will we be able to rise above our shell shock and be who we want to be. All of us have the capacity to do this, and when we do, we will increase our own happiness and be of greater service to those around us.
Tragedy
At least 16 others, including children, were taken to local hospitals alive but suffering from heat exhaustion and apparent dehydration, city officials said during a news conference at the scene of what appeared to be one of the worst episodes of migrant death in the United States in recent years.

Constitution
This Supreme Court demonstrates a selective and opportunistic interpretation of the Constitution and legal history, which ignores the intent of the 13th and 14th Amendments, especially as related to Black women’s bodily autonomy, liberty and privacy which extended beyond freeing them from labor in cotton fields to shielding them from rape and forced reproduction.
States
In California, lawmakers are expected as soon as Monday to put a state constitutional amendment on the ballot that would explicitly protect reproductive rights. If approved, it would go before state voters in November for approval.

Weekend!
Have an excellent weekend and see you bright and early Monday morning. It's been a very hard week. I recall telling friends back in 2015 to be careful about their disinterest in Hillary Clinton, I said the Supreme Court picks will be critical. That all fell on deaf ears. Lack of foresight is something shared by both parties.
Takeaways
Washington Post: 6 takeaways from the Supreme Court opinion that ended Roe v. Wade by Amber Phillips
Abortion is difficult to poll, but polling does at least consistently show that a majority of Americans want to keep Roe v. Wade in place. Alito appears very aware of that, and in his opinion he repeatedly professes not to care.
Outlaw
The right will now be decided by state legislatures, as it had until Roe was decided in 1973, and could lead to the procedure being banned in more than half the states.
Travesty
Just flicked on the TV and saw that R v W has been officially struck done. It's an especially dark day in America. Also you can't tell me the announcement is not politically motivated. Trump was impaled by the J6 Committee on Thursday and here on the very next day, we have a severe headline changer. That's exactly the calculation too, get the attention away from Trump and back onto abortion. What an embarrassment.

Disgrace
How derelict does someone have to be to ask for a pardon from America's most amoral person.
She also testified that Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio “talked about” pardons but did not directly ask for one, and that she heard of newly elected Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia also expressing interest to the White House Counsel’s Office.
Ruling
Strikes me that the Supreme Court decision is going to cause an increase in violence. It's also strikes me as pure insanity.
The decision by the court on Thursday — its first major ruling on the right of Americans to carry a gun in public — most narrowly involves a New York State law that allows authorities to set additional requirements before residents can get a concealed-carry gun permit.
