President Trump has spent two years attacking our best values — truth and trust — and I believe that Democrats getting a lever of power is necessary, but not sufficient, to reverse that.

Trumpf is just a symptom of a deeper disease. Part of the problem are that both major parties are essentially OWNNED by the same Corp. structure. The Dems. have little to no leadership and in my view is not mounting any credible resistance to Trumpism.
Trump is there for the purpose of increasing billionaire wealth and also to increase billionaire control. He is succeeding at both. The wealth part is about tax cuts and his own bonus in that scheme is his personal grift. The control is about removing voting structures, deepening partisan divides, stoking resentment, trampling on hard earned rights for all kinds of people. A divided people is an easier group to manipulate.
