Trumpf and his gang are all tied up with the Russian Mafia and they have been since as early as the 80's when he started going to the then Soviet Union trying to make "deals" with various people. When that society went through a collapse of their Soviet ( Marxist) Empire he was right there with other American scammers and he built a network of Russian connections over the next 30 yrs. Things changed radically for him after all his bankruptcies in that his failures and arrogance cut him off from American banks because his reputation was that he was a con man. I knew plenty of people who got cheated or conned by this klown and his various schemes. He had plenty of them going and like a Mafia crime boss he surrounded himself with guys like Michael Cohen , Felix Sater and many others. These were all like him smart ( clever) criminals that even today are trying to sell this line that they're just businessmen. NOT. If you really look close at what most of them are up to like Donald their trails will all lead to the Russia, Chinese , Israeli, Italian, So. American GANGS and notorious mobsters. Untangling this web of crime and related legal activites is complex and were lucky at this time to have SP. Mueller and his hounddogs on their trail. I expect someday a whole section of history studies will exist to try and figure this all out. Let me say this I see it all as a new iteration of crime but also of the related political movement of Fascism. Fascists are political criminals that do not ascribe to our notions of the rule of law. Simply put Fascism like crime gangs believes in "the law of the Jungle" in this world the strongest triumph ( win) and it's all about WINNING sound familiar? In the crime world and the Fascist world their are winners ( them) and LOSERS ( marks) the rest of us. In both realms the people that rule are RUTHLESS and largely amoral. In the absolutely worst examples these people are murderous genocidal killers ( Hitler, Mao, Stalin.) Is Trumpf one of these guys? I don't think so but I do believe he's quite capable of murder on a massive scale. It's very likely he's already murdered people close to himself. Will he start killing those he feels threaten him now? Probably, and it's why he cannot be allowed to consolidate power beyond the GOP. He's trying to do that and so far many different factions are resisting some of them within the GOP most not. How this is going to play out nobody really knows. Stay tuned.

Glenn, thanks for the work on writing this post for us. There is a history there and it reeks to high heaven. I have to say one of the most discouraging aspects of this sordid mess is that 41% of the country is willing to see this guy as a good leader. That just blows my mind. It's so obvious that he is a reprehensible cur that it's mind blowing that others do not identify this in him. What in the f are they seeing?
