Trumpism has been a shock to the body politic in this country. Americans are being subjected to the whims of a madman and they don't particularly like it. The GOP's deeply regressive policy agenda is also hurting them. 2018 is going to be even more tumultuous IMO than 2017 has been. Emotions from Nov. 2016 are still RAW among large segments of the population. Trumpf's personality is making things worse by the day. My big concern though is that the Dems. will put just slightly less Conservatives up as they did in Va. and NJ . Anybody could beat the GOP right now but replacing a GOP Gov. with a GOP lite Gov. won't cut it in the long run. It's what got us to this sorry state in the 1st place.

No matter how you cut it, last night's Dem victories were a big F.U. to Trump. This was a relief. I didn't expect it to be this much of a win. This is huge and the GOP is fretting today make no mistake. There's a good percentage of GOPers today behind closed doors who are jumping on the we got to get rid of Trump bandwagon.
