The Market Is Closed On July 3rd

  Good morning. It is 63 degrees and very sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. I think we are in for an extremely gorgeous sort of day. It's the weekend of the Fourth and along with the weekend comes the revelry and the firecrackers. Not a fan of the firecrackers am I. However, I understand. What a week it has been, the world is in flux, yet the world is always in flux. I suspect the call to remove the Confederate flag has got a good 200 years to go, say roughly four generations. I'm an optimist. Of more present interest, Wall Street is closed today in observance of the Fourth.
