Guardian UK: Oregon militia standoff: one dead after Ammon Bundy and others arrested - FBI officials say they arrested the leader of the armed militia occupying the Malheur wildlife refuge and several others, and one person was killed during a shootout with federal agents
On 26 January, Robert ‘LaVoy’ Finicum and five other militia members left the refuge they had occupied since 2 January.
They were stopped en route to a community meeting in the town of John Day by federal officials. Finicum was killed in the ensuing shootout and the other men arrested.

I think the FBI handled it well or as well as they could given the circumstances. Sorry to see the one guy killed, but this was stupid.
