Sorry, but to ask WHY Tr**mp persists is to ask if a bear s**ts in the woods.
I recognize that he has to do it for self preservation and ego maintenance of some type but to explain it in a logical actual way, it's a mystery. The man's psychology is a chess board with some many pieces that have no relationship to the game that the permutations are unparalleled.
I suppose if I were a shrink he might still be a curiosity. But I've read more than enough analysis on this guy - if I could, I buy that time back and use it differently.
