Bill Palmer, tell us something we don't know.
We know the bully acts out of fear - we've watched it 24/7 for 4 years. Now cornered, fear amps to terror and desperation. Survival and existence are threatened.
He most likely will emerge a diminished version of himself, no better for it.
Watching this disintegration brings me no joy. We have all been diminished.
I've listened to the tape. To me Trump actually sounds about more human than ever, and I think it is precisely because he is terrified. It's quite a thing.
Confronted with one's own mortality. It is quite a thing.
