Good morning. It is 79 degrees and it is sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the low 90s this afternoon. Going to be a scorcher. I watched some of the DNC last night roughly from 9PM on. I heard Bill Clinton's long speech as he worked to portray Hillary in a better light. Let's face it, people on the right heard the speech and they disliked her even more, people on the left are fine with her regardless, and it is the alleged soft group of indies who might listen and be affected.
At 9:10 a.m. ET futures are moderately higher and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open higher.
Big news today as the Fed gets down to business on interest rates. The expectation is that rates will stay put, and in this regard no news is big news for investors.
