" I think it has a bright future" Maybe the understatement of the Century for these young men. Let's all hope that the Carbon Barons don't grab it and hide it away. They couldn't be happy about such devices , hook batteries made from this material to a solar or wind generator and you can guess the implications for the present power energy/power monopolists. Just like in the the 19th century coal and then oil meant the end of the wood and whale oil Barons. Society is now going to recreate itself in such a way that our big project is going to be cleaning up the waste of the last 3 centuries. This invention among many others coming will lead the way.
I hope it takes off big time because the mess out there, as we know, is daunting. There will be push-back from big oil, look at how the GOP is dismantling global warming budgets for NASA, the EPA and such. Having followed the implications of global warming pretty much every day for the past several years or so, the results are disastrous in a myriad number ways. It's like one of those domino chains, every single little bit of nature is disrupted by global warming from the microscopic right on up.
