Good morning. It is 34 degrees and slightly sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The temperatures in the region are playing havoc with driving as the temperature dips above and below freezing following yesterday's rain. Drive carefully, the pictures of the massive car pileups are all about black ice. The ground is once again starting to reappear in this area. January is flying by. We've managed to accumulate around 1/2 hour of more daylight and in the next 30 days we'll gain another hour. Right now we are gaining around 2 minutes of daylight per day and the sunrise is even starting to kick back a little.
The market is closed for the holiday.
