At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are flat and the price of oil is lower. The market is poised to open lower.
Initial weekly jobless claims came in at 297,000 this morning and tomorrow we get the government's number on jobs created in November. The price of oil remains high up on the things to watch list. At the moment the price seems to be coalescing around $65 to $68 per barrel. It will interesting to see if the price continues to drop or slowly rebounds up to $80 per barrel.

Gas prices for a lucky few have even fallen below $2 a gallon.
