The famous warrior goes before the spiritual master and asks the master to explain heaven and hell.
The master looks at the warrior and says, "You are a vile person, you're obviously an ill-mannered slob, you're very stupid and I doubt if you could understand anything at all, why should I waste my time on someone as pathetic as you."
As the famous warrior listens to this tirade, he becomes more and more furious. When he hears the word pathetic he becomes completely enraged and he moves to take his sword in hand so he can slice the master's head right off.
The master watches and just as the sword is about to come down on him he says, "That, is hell."
The warrior stops in his tracks and a look of wise understanding comes over his face. Smiling to himself the warrior nods in approval and puts his sword down.
The master watches this change in the warrior's demeanor and then says, "That, is heaven."
