I agree, Pickens is a very smart guy and one thing the man knows is the Oil /Energy business. This drop is like all oil moves artificial and once supply comes back into line with demand the price will once again rise. Frankly, as much as I along with everyone else is enjoying some relief at the pump this Xmas it needs to go back over $100 a barrel in the long run so that we can continue on the path to renewable s and a large system change.
Yea he knows his stuff, like oil or not. As we know, cheaper oil prices lead to gas guzzling cars, right now everyone's driving around in a big ole SUV. Higher prices makes people that can afford to, switch to better mileage vehicles. Having said that, I personally doubt that any of this at this point changes the uncountable mechanisms that are already in motion surrounding more CO2 in the atmosphere.
