It's one of those things that is so shocking. But when you think for a moment, what is a newspaper supposed to do. It's amazing, calling out the justice department to prosecute! I thought the Europeans would have to do it. It makes perfect sense to hold the criminals accountable after the crimes have been so clearly exposed.
The article is red meat for the base of people that support prosecution, a point to rally around and bond as it were. Other than that, it's meaningless.
They might indeed be criminals, but whose going to arrest and transport them to the Hague? Don't hold your breath, even Pinochet got away with murder and so did most of the Nazis war criminals.
