I was doing a little Google searching and found that special counsel Jack Smith served as a United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee from February 2015 to September 2017. In other words he served as a US Attorney at the end of the Obama administration and through the first year of the Trump administration, if you can call it an administration. I don't recall Trump going after Jack Smith and his family in 2017, do you?
