  He's a liberal, what's the big deal, nothing changes in the Supreme Court.

Even though replacing Breyer with another "liberal "changes nothing, you know who's gonna fight this 100%. And, just to make it more fun, there may very well be the usual dissenters from the Dems. This will not be an easy task for Biden.
The Supreme Court has become a blatently political branch of government and the Senate will use this nomination to reinforce all that is negative. Do I sound negative? I can't see it any other way.

No - I think you sound accurate. Bill Kristol, former neo-con now turned Trump ultra-foe, suggests Biden pick Kamala Harris, Harris resign V.P. and is replaced by, wait for it, Mitt Romney providing a unity government as it were. Not going to happen, but this has sparked imaginations all over the place.

That's the first time I've liked something from Bill Kristol. Whose imaginations did you say have been sparked? Not anyone that makes these decisions I suppose.
