Sad situation. It's a prime example of what happens when a country puts all its chips down on one commodity or one Industry and things change and it loses all or most of it's value. I'm living that right now where I live because of the virus. Our major Industry Casinos are either closed or running at 25% capacity and most people are laid off in that Industry. Unemployment here is officially at 30% and unofficially at 50%+. It's a nightmare. My heart goes out to the people of Venezuela.

Yikes, I had no idea you wee in the midst of that, that is harsh. In Venezuela the terrorist group is actually providing stability in the talked about regions. Casinos will come back in time. People want to gamble and they like gambling in person.
