I've been listening to this guy for the last couple of weeks, and I kinda like him. In my opinion he's around the same level as a Bill Palmer. He has some insight from experience but is not a full out journalist. He's an opinion-ist. He takes the news that is out there and interprets it.

I agree that he is very much an opinion-ist like Bill Palmer. But I think both could be called "Captain Obvious". For me, they're only good if I want a stand in to express my own "can you believe this" exasperation.

Part of what I like to do with this blog is sample what's out there, especially voices on the progressive side. Every once in a while I'll post something from the right, but at this point in time, the right's got nothing. I somewhat like Cheney strictly because she is realistically talking about Trump's lie. I admire her willingness to take a boatload of negative comments and feedback because she has that one grain of truth. RoF, it's not the NY Times. It's a guy who has made his own thing happen, he's committed, he's also trying to hone his act I would suspect because he would like to have a bigger gig.

I give anybody credit for putting in the time and effort to gather a following on the inter web. The bigger the gig, the greater the following, the more influencer you are.

Cheney is much more informative for me than Misseurs RoF or Palmer, but a healthy sampling makes the blog all the more interesting! Keep up the good work.
