Trump released a video statement the day of the attack, but long after the worst of the siege had subsided. The taped message reiterated the lie that the election had been stolen and ended with Trump telling his supporters: “We love you. You’re very special.”

Defending trump 's behavior before and after the Jan. 6th failed Coup is like trying to defend Derek Chauvin. We all saw the Jan 6th Insurrection and no amount of trying to rewrite history or attempts at making the event vanish are going to work. Trumpf might have gotten away with this when he was in office but not now. He needs to be put behind bars ASAP he's an extremely dangerous criminal on the loose.
I want Trump brought up on charges for January 6th, it was an outrage. I look forward to seeing him neck deep in indictments and people in the know say that is going to happen.
