It's not really lying it's far worse then simply that. It's the willful attempt at creating an entirely different alternate reality that is totally created by him. It's more along the lines of the famous 90's movie "The Truman Show." Millions of Americans are the Jim Carrey character living in a tiny fantasy-world created by this man and his media helpers. It's a deliberate construction just as Germany was from 1933 to 1945. Lying on a megalomaniac scale is more like it. Trumpism is a form of totalitarian thinking American style.

Yes he's an authoritarian and has no other perspective. He's a very troubling individual.
