As bad as Barr is even he seems to of had a line in the sand where he wasn't prepared to cross. I think he came to realize that trumpf had no bottom and that no matter what he tried to do to placate this man it was impossible to do.

It would be interesting to know exactly what Barr was thinking about Trump. I suspect most close advisors think he's crazy, literally.
