And so it begins?
Your dream come true?
Two Americas?

I was listening to WAMC this am and they had an American history writer on. He was talking about the severe disagreements at the start of the country, how many divisive issues were kicked down the road so to speak. It's inherent in the country, this severe divisiveness is here, it's part of the fabric. I don't know how this plays out but I do know that four more years of Trump or Trump light is going rip at the fabric a lot more. I favor democracy, and good part of the country does not.

Compared to revolutionary and civil war times, we don't know how good we've had it. The divisiveness IS part of the fabric and can be our strength when used for good. Lincoln worked some miracles, but was killed for it. More years of Tr**mpism will encourage many more to be bad and many more bad to be worse.

I do think that even the worst favor what they call "democracy", the version that serves them and not others.
