Getting a vaccination on March 4th not sure which one now that J& J is out. Would prefer the Moderna or Pizer ones but might not have a choice. This worries me because of the various new variants spreading. The J& J has advantages for the authorities but honestly I worry its the cut rate cure that only works 50% of the time maybe and most people are going to get literally stuck with it. That said, younger healthier people might be ok with this vaccine but it doesn't make sense for those of us over 70. Again, I might not have a choice and any Vac. at this pt. is better than none.
My understanding is that the vaccination is mostly about preventing people from getting severely ill from the virus. This means people may very well still get sick, but not severely.
