It's looking as if she got a bump from the DNC plus tRump's disastrous treatment of the Khan's has also cost him temporarily as well. Whether she can maintain her lead though is questionable. One problem I see for Mrs. Clinton is the economy. It's shaky to say the best about it. If the markets collapse or we start seeing a move towards another recession that's going to hurt. Then there is the strong possibility of more terrorists events and mass shootings all of which feed to the narrative of tRump's worldview. Right now though it appears that she has retaken the lead.

The thing of it is, Trump is so preoccupied with striking out against his many many many critics that he fails to capitalize on something like basic economic data! He could easily have talked the economy over the weekend after the weak first issuing of the second quarter GDP from Friday. Instead he went after Khan! It's unbelievable. All Clinton has to do is keep attacking him and then all Trump will do is attack back, frantically on Twitter as if the 35,000 people he reaches via Twitter will win the election?!! It's stunning. Wait till the movies come out in 2 years. Question - who will play Trump...

I still don't feel very comfortable about how this whole year has unfolded. tRump is a very dangerous development whether he wins or NOT. The country has a very serious number of deeply fucked up people in it and they aren't just going to vanish after tRump goes away.
