The Market On Friday

  Good morning. It is 77 degrees and overcast here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the high 80s. We shall see because at the moment it feels like rain. Hillary Clinton really took it to Trump yesterday and exposed him for the racist he is. I commend her for doing that and I look forward to her eviscerating the dangerous idiot.

  At 9:10 a.m. ET futures are ever so slightly higher and the price of oil per barrel is up now trading around $47.50. The market is poised to open slightly higher.

  Two words - Janet Yellen. The Fed chair will tell the world about any plans for a base interest rate hike at 10 a.m. ET. After that the market will take its foot off the brake and move one way or the other.
