A Norman Rockwell (1894 - 1978) painting from 1945. The story behind this painting is poignant. The man is home after being a soldier during WW2. The war has ended. When he left to go off to war, he was a teenager. Returning home, he is in his old room and his old clothes no longer fit, he's outgrown them.
