Just the opposite is planned. A hugely expensive fight to the finish to defend a million mostly second vacation homes is going to happen. We're all going to pay for it.

It all depends on how much sea level rise we get, it could be the more optimistic numbers or the more terrifying numbers. If it's the latter, no amount of anything is going to save the coasts, and not just in this country.
