Have you followed this story where Rudy was tapped on the back and called a scumbag by a grocery store worker. Rudy is playing it up to the max, saying it was like being hit by a bullet and that he suffers from massive trauma, except video of the incident shows nothing of the sort.

Not a lie by Rudy. As fu**ed up a guy as he is, he probably doesn't "feel" or "sense" anything like we do. His psychic, emotional and physical are all mixed up and messed up, he can't tell the difference.
I am not defending him nor do I sympathize, just offering my clinical 'arm chair opinion'.
I had not thought of that but it is very plausible and likely. I see him as a drama queen always trying to capitalize on literally anything real or unreal. He's playing dirty politics 24/7.
I agree with everything you say. I'm just in a "what's it like to be him and live in crazy town" kinda mood.
Interesting to think about the "real or unreal" part of your observation. He and T**mp were both naked Emperors that convinced the masses they were wearing clothes. So I'd say there is a lifetime of proven results that "unreal" worked for them.
