Then Abortion will be illegal everywhere and even the Congress will NOT beable to make it legal. Only changing the Constitution by Amendment or changing the Court will be able to do that. At that juncture we will enter a crisis that might last generations as slavery did. One religious faction will essentially be writing the laws and just three people will actually govern America from the bench. The Republican party normally would pay a steep political price for this kind of anti-democratic action but it probbly won't because at the same moment in time this Court is also basically locking them into power by enforcing their deeply Authoritarian and anti-democratic voter law changes in many States. Jim Sande said...: You've summed up an area that literally makes me furious, it's difficult for me to get the words out fast enough about what's going on here. What will happen with abortion is that there will be a network of doctors who will provide abortions and this will all be under the radar. There will be busts etc, but it's not going to stop it, not at this point and also considering most countries in the developed world have far more liberal laws about than the USA.; 2:53 PM
