But she probably won't accept it from Biden because "...it might seem political to do so."
On the surface this does not compute. Dolly Parton is terrific and unique, amazing, likable, genuine and has strenuously avoided being "political". But she knows that everything is political.

A huge part of her audience is Trump supporters, it's got to be. It's a career and financial decision.
She has always been savvy business wise, so yes, I think it's a calculation.
Her altruism excuses any coyness or hedging of bets like this (Biden=political, Tr**mp=not political) is perceived to be.
