Trump has another crisis handed to him and once again he's seen by many as failing to handle it as a capable leader. Instead, like the wannabe tyrant he is he demands that anyone opposing him be dealt with. I can't imagine a circumstance will he will allow a free election this fall. If once happens and he loses he will challenge it. If he loses the challenge he will challenge that and on and on. It's his MO from way back. He just doesn't accept defeat and with all the power his office has till Jan 20th 2021 I don't see him leaving peacefully.
