NY Times: Coronavirus Live Updates: Cases in the U.S. Grow to Their Highest Levels Since April - New York will require certain out-of-state travelers to quarantine upon arrival. A New York Times/Siena College poll found that voters widely rejected President Trump’s response to the pandemic. North Carolina will pause its reopening for three weeks and require face masks as cases and hospitalization rates increase, Gov. Roy Cooper announced.

Trumpism is teetering. It's requirement that it's followers indulge in magical thinking is smashing up against a remorseless Virus that doesn't give a shit about Trump or his followers. Unfortunately, the viruses unconcern for our political fighting also doesn't care about the BLM protesters that want to violate the guidelines about Social distancing and masks etc. My pt. is there going to be butchers bill for all of this up ahead as the virus cuts down millions more before this nightmare is over.

The death toll will end up being enormous. The 200,000 number right now seems extremely optimistic especially with it raging in the Sunbelt. NY is trying to keep people out but I can't see how that will ultimately work. It all boils down to no national plan and the disgusting response of that SOB.
