The country is coming unglued. I expect some kind of right wing retaliation against the protesters. Will this murder be the spark that sets off a Civil War like the one in Syria a tribal event ever escalating? Who knows? Or will fear of the virus tamp down such a event? Millions without work and no income and no savings , a deadly virus of hatred armed with machine guns. America it seems is on the brink.

It's been a helluva week Glenn. We haven't seen crazy like this since Nixon and this is worse. There was no pandemic going on in the late 60s. Black people and people with half a conscience have every right to be wanting justice and wanting change. Black people have to go about their lives worried if they get the virus AND if they're going to be killed by the police. That's a real fear, I can feel it for f's sake. Trump is playing games like he always does and can only do. He's fighting with Twitter, he's in his own personal sick psycho space. We need to hear more from Biden. More from Obama, more from people like that. We need to hear from respected figures more and more. The 3rd degree murder charges were a start. When things get this bad, there will be people out looking to make it worse, but there will also be people trying to find something better. If you are in a safe place, be grateful. Fascinating that all this is coming to a head at the end of Trump's first and hopefully last term. Everything he comes in contact with gets destroyed. It's amazing. I look forward to his demise. It has to happen. No one skates away free from that level of malice. They never do.
