Good morning. At 8:12 a.m. ET DOW futures are -821. The market will tank at the opening bell. With people not going out and not spending money and simultaneously losing their sources of income, it definitely all points in the direction of a recession. My understanding is that unlike the previous recession of 2008, banks are now favorably capitalized. There is a thought going around that an economic recovery might be quick. Having said these things, one can never be certain and this is simply conjecture and hearsay. The curious thing in my opinion about the covid-19 period is that it once again shows people what is most valuable, and that would be - being alive. Life is our most valuable property so to speak. In this light, do socially distance, keep yourself healthy. If you are feeling ill, then do all the right things to get better soon.
