Reports are surfacing of some anti-viral drugs that are showing some usefulness in combating the disease in people that already have it. A vaccine though is probably a year or more away too late to do much to prevent it from spreading. By then the human race will have developed some herd immunity and will be able to deal with it going forward. Early tests on the blood of some of those that have recovered show that their immune systems worked to develop antibodies that eventually fought off the disease , so its not all bad news out here.
